Things have slowed down at the law office, so I'm in a doable mode where home improvement projects are concerned. We're planning to finish the back splash walls before the new counter goes in next Tuesday and I'm hoping to have enough time to install the new lights we got. Then there's the matter of doing an electrical box and installing the hood/microwave over the stove. So much to do!VVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08751403913379728345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3453225790730931112.post-76309159358555612482010-05-12T15:08:45.258-04:002010-05-12T15:08:45.258-04:00wow my friend.. amazing jobs you all are doign esp...wow my friend.. amazing jobs you all are doign esp with you being busy with both jobs... hope they are going well.. i need more hours at work but wont complain how many i have since its a job.tweetey30https://www.blogger.com/profile/04780963604845788306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3453225790730931112.post-12063372766030900632010-05-11T16:07:06.176-04:002010-05-11T16:07:06.176-04:00OL, yes, the deconstruction is very disruptive and...OL, yes, the deconstruction is very disruptive and our dining room is a mess from moving so many things out of the kitchen. We're almost done though, just one more week....I hope.

Tshsmom, yes, painting wood is a capital sin for me too, but the black/white color palette doesn't work well with brown cabinets, and we really wanted a very different look. You just wait, the white cabinets will look great. They already do, but you haven't seen them yet. :-)VVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08751403913379728345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3453225790730931112.post-72072259738263015322010-05-11T15:52:45.693-04:002010-05-11T15:52:45.693-04:00At our house, painting wood is a capital offense! ...At our house, painting wood is a capital offense! You all are very very brave, taking this on. I think the worst part is the "De-Contrucyion", don't you? When everything is in disarray....I found that part very very unsettling in every way....I look forward to Part 3!OldLady Of The Hillshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02458879772193114892noreply@blogger.com
