It's been so dry here we fully expected to find dry shriveled bushes, instead we were greeted with the largest raspberries these bushes have ever produced, and a lot of them! They also tasted fantastic! Our blackberry bushes are also full but not quite ripe yet. I'm sensing a cobbler in my future.

Mmmmm
It's been so dry here we fully expected to find dry shriveled bushes, instead we were greeted with the largest raspberries these bushes have ever produced, and a lot of them! They also tasted fantastic! Our blackberry bushes are also full but not quite ripe yet. I'm sensing a cobbler in my future.

oh they look delicious!! We just had a cobbler tonight, I had fresh strawberries and frozen (out of our garden) rhubarb ... it was yummy... I love cobblers.
I can't wait to go blackberry picking when it's 'pickin' time' -lol. I LOVE doing it every summer.
Now if I could just figure out how to make jam out of it....sigh.
