Woo-Hoo
One of the other things I'm trying to make more time for, besides reading and home improvement stuff, is exercise. M and I began "jogging" last January as a New Year's resolution to get in better shape and live healthier lives. On the anniversary of that slow beginning, I am happy to announce I jogged 5.2 miles today. It took me 67 minutes to do it, that's just under 13 minutes miles, but I'm so happy that I was able to go that far. It's been all I could do to just make 3 miles each day. The most I've jogged has been 3.8 miles, so this was a big deal for me.

CONGRATULATIONS, my dear! That Is Fabulous....!
Congrats that is a big deal.. So happy for you.. I love walking and wish I had more time for it.. I wanted to take the bikes out last week.. We have hardly any snow and its been some what nice out.. Maybe tonight when we get home. We lost all our snow we had for x-mas already. Anyway keep it up. Great job my friend.
That's an accomplishment! I used to run about 50 lbs. ago, but note lately. I'd love to get back to it, and can appreciate the mountain you've had to climb. 5.2 miles is awesome!
Wunelle, look up the couch potato to 5K program on line. It's so easy to get back into jogging slowly. That's what we did. Good luck.
I continue to walk every day, but running would be much kinder at 230 lbs. than 270 lbs. Alas, hope springs eternal! (But good on you guys!)
