Plodding Through

Last week I cleaned out one side of the garage, hauled three truck loads of stuff to the dump.

Today I began working on the basement.  B is finally home from Taiwan (Yay!) so he was helping me with all the heavy lifting and sorting.

We only got a little further than what you see in this picture.  It's surprising how exhausting it is to lift case after case of legal books (easily close to 100 pounds) and make multiple runs to the dump.

We will get right back at it tomorrow.  M will be here to also help.  Yes, she came back early from England :-( but after she told me about the conditions of living and training, I can't say as I blame her, though I was hoping she would make it longer.  Oh well.  Now I'm off to visit blogs that I've neglected as of late.

I don't envy you this job----It wears me out to think about it! LOL! You seem to have boundless energy and you are so wonderfully organized....I know how incredibly hard it is to do what you are doing.....Me? I can no longer do work like this, at all! I wish you all the good strength in the world, and I'm glad your son is back and able to help you.

Isn't it amazing the amount of "STUFF", as George Carlin use to say, that we accumulate over the years? OY VEY!!! I know whomever has to clean out my house after I am gone, will be cursing me 6 times a day! LOL

Please take a nap when you need to, none of us are as young as we were. Glad to hear that Bobby's back, as well as Mindy. I do not care for e-mail and such so much is missed. so when is a good time to call you? or should I just wait until your moved? LY

No telling when is a good time to call. All our weekends are crazy booked and we have friends coming to stay with us just before the movers pack us up. Evenings during the week would be my best guess.

And on and on and on

Still busy!  Surprised?  I think this is just the state of my life.  I'm teaching an on-line course, traveling three weeks in a row (MD,...
