Still working, still experimenting

I have been working on Min's room in between everything else I have to do. I finished the floor last week and started putting the room back together. I still have some minor things to do with the built-in cabinets, but the room doesn't need to be empty to do any of that. I have to clean up white paint on the black hinges, put a strip of molding at the bottom of the cabinets, and re-hang a mirror in the alcove as soon as it comes in at Lowes. I bought a really cool mirror and then promptly broke it, and so had to re-order it, 3 weeks ago. I don't know what's taking it so long to come in.
Next I decided to practice with my fish eye lens again to take shots of the room. So these first two photos are with the fish eye lens, standing in the doorway of the room. The next two pix are standing in the same spot, but with a regular lens. Notice how I can get a shot of the whole room with one lens, and only a small portion with the other lens. Today I'm off from work and I think I have a lot of weeding and yard work to get done in anticipation of some major yard work next week. Have a great weekend.

I've always loved this room, even last year when you first shared your idea and then when I saw the progress you made :) It's a super cute room.

As to the lens - are you a secret photographer? Is that one of your hobbies? (I've thought about taking lessons lately, but ... too busy)

Photography is a hobby, another thing I'm taking a really long time to figure out.
