The French Market

OMG! I got so bit by the shopping bug while at the French Market! There are tons of souvenir things, food, clothes and everything imaginable for Mardi Gras. I couldn't resist, I picked up some masks and beads for Melanie and I. A friend of ours throws a big ass Mardi Gras party every year and we're always horribly underdressed and under-beaded. Not this year!

It all looks fabulous! I've never been to that area, except to stop on the way somewhere else...The Airport!

I wish you could experience it.

Isn't New Orleans just divine? Haven't been there now for four or five years--my current airplane doesn't go there, while the previous one did--but I was so taken that I dragged Susan down there for a weekend and she still talks fondly of the place. Great pictures!

It's a wonderful city. It definitey has a soul, you can feel it when you walk down down the street. I can only visit in winter because I can't take the heat and humidity.
