Naomi has passed. I would post comments on her blog once or twice a year in hopes she would see them, even though she stopped posting in 2015. She lost a sister, her dearest friend, Betty, and her brother in under three years’ time. It was too much for her and her failing health. She turned inward and isolated. I made it a point to check up on her twice a year. Today I checked again only to discover she had passed a couple months after I last checked on her. I choose to remember her joy in nature, her love of her white cat, Sweetie, her “Ladies who lunch,” her plants, and memories of old Hollywood and Broadway. What an interesting life she led! I hope wherever her spirit is, she’s surrounded by those she loved.

Two videos because more would take too long to load.
From expecting to one year old
Oh how the time flies! I have been busy enjoying my first grandchild, a boy. He is easily the happiest baby I have ever met. To be fair, his father was usually happy and friendly too. That's not to say I haven't seen his crocodile tears appear on occasion, and I was recently treated to the most amazing temper tantrum of him kicking and throwing himself backward as the word "no" achieved meaning in his head.
Some parents would get a chuckle at seeing how their child handles parenting, but that has not happened with me. I have been so astounded at the love and patience my son has exhibited with his son. My son is a stay-at-home dad, and I know how stressful that can be. But he has been doing great! So, here's a year's worth of quick snapshots in no particular order, and if I can upload a video, I will.

Finally!
I lost my email account associated with this blog for lack of use, then I couldn't remember my password and couldn't reset it because the email was deactivated. I finally bothered to look into all this and got access back to everything. Now, does this mean I will be posting regularly again? I'm not sure. I got off FB over a year ago, so that's not sucking up my time, but I have been staying very busy. So it's a big, we'll see, I guess. Now to finally get back to commenting on my favorite cyber kitten's blog!
