Be A Hero

Thanks to Debambam down under for showing me how to become a super hero.

Go here to create your own super hero: The Hero Factory

I outfitted my super hero with wings so that I would never have to fly in airplanes again (my kryptonite). She's also fully clothed (although it is a clingy outfit) because I hate those male fantasy female super heroes with their boobs hanging out. You just know one's going to come flopping out the minute you try to fight a bad guy. Pulllleeeeaaasssseeee!!! She also has a kick-ass weapon to get the bad guy's attention. What kind of super hero would you be?

I also have to mention, I love the hero website's choice of theme song: "I Need A Hero" sung by Bonnie Tyler. Enjoy the totally 80's video.

Did any of you ever watch the show in the mid-1980s that used that song as a its theme song -Cover Up? It starred Jennifer O'Neill and Jon-Erik Hexum. Jon shot himself accidentally and died. I think he was playing with one of the prop guns and put it to his head, not understanding that at point-blank range, even without a bullet, the packing material could kill him. What a waste! Oh well, back to focusing on politics. Oh, our guy won the primary by 41%, now onto the general election in 4 weeks. Election Story

Super hero I dont know about that. I tried this the other day and I couldnt get it to go through for me. On to TV shows dont remember these two very well. I do remember a show that I cant think of the name to but its about this old guy living with his daughter and two grandsons a dog in Seattle and they have earth quakes. And one day the boys are home alone with the beagle of a dog they had. It came on after Rocky Road.. Seriously. I was in 3rd grade when this show ran..

I too could only see the first picture, but I could read the whole thing!! *Grin*

I love that song so much! It's right up there with Gloria Estefan's "I will survive" for cool 80s songs...

Hi guys, are you looking at my page with Internet Explorer? Try looking at it with a different browser (Netscape, Firefox, etc) and see if that helps. Maybe updating the browser you're using will also help. I had a problem a week or so back where all of OL's pictures and text were all over the place and I couldn't read any of her blog. I updated my browser, now everything is fine.
