It's Superbowl Sunday and we're gearing up for Superbowl XLV. That's Superbowl 45 for those of you who can't remember your Roman numerals. We're currently in a frenzy of cleaning up the house, decorating, paint and plaster touch-ups on walls, food prep, and we've brought another flat screen down from our bedroom so our 25+ guests will have two t.v.s on which to watch the action.
This is the first time since 1997 M's beloved Green Bay Packers have made it to the Superbowl and excited is a gross understatement of her state of mind right now. The Packer tree has been lit up all week. Um, that would be our normal Christmas tree out front that has been covered in green lights, with a giant golden "G" in the middle of it. Her buddy, Les, has been smoking vast amounts of pork and beef for the last few hours, for the festivities. M's dressed in a packer's shirt and colors, but don't worry, I've hidden all the face paint from Halloween, so I don't think there will be any green and gold face or body painting going on. Well, I'd better get back to work. I'll post shots of the party later. Go Pack Go!!
