Over the river and through the woods...

To my sister, Pat's house, we go. We'll leaving butt early for New York tomorrow morning. I should have time when I get back to post photos of the trip, all the Christmas decorating we've been doing but haven't had time to post because of all the grading I've been doing. That's all done now - woo-hoo!! They just had a big snow yesterday and another one coming tomorrow. Wish us luck driving in the snow. Oh, and count on me hitting Lupo's for spiedies the minute I hit Endwell. :-)

Hey, thanks, hope you have a great holiday too. We made it here to NY and we even got a gorgeous river room in our hotel room. I forgot my cable from my camera, otherwise I'd download pictures now. Oh well, when I get back next week.

Hi Kris,

We went to Ithaca today, drove around Cayuga Lake, hit a winery, saw some falls, then went back to Endwell, had spiedies, then went to the Cider Mill for cider and doughnuts, went to the Roberson Center, now going to dinner at the Jailhouse Restaurant. Wonder if my brother's old jail cell is still in tact. ;-)

Tish's Mom, can not find your e-mail address. K gave it to me awhile ago, But anyhow, stay warm, & Merry Christmas. My hubby has a bumb foot, so is on crutches, I have the stove duties, for the next few weeks, Our water froze yesterday, when K was here, ended up calling a plummer, to get here and fix, it did not take long thankfully. Hopefully the next few weeks go uneventfully:) My husband is already getting cabin fever. Pretty soon he will start carving in my dinning room. That seems to be one of his winter pastimes. It just gets messy no matter how careful he is. Plant were I work is shut down, until Jan 5. Get with K she can give you my phone or have her give me yours, have Time Warner here so no cost long distance for me.

Pat, will do; that would be a BLAST! I lost your email address too, not that it would do much good when you're off work right now. :(

OMG, I can sympathize with your plumbing problems. Around here, if it wasn't for water problems(leaky roof, windows, toilets, faucets, water heater), we'd be living a carefree life. Unbelievably, we've only had ONE frozen water line, and that was because L forgot to plug in the heat tape one fall. Fortunately he was able to fix it before the line burst. We live in a mobile home and there isn't a plumber in the county who will work on a mobile home.
Plumbers think mobile home owners are shiftless and won't pay our bill. I found this out from a plumber friend we had. We've become fairly good plumbers as a result of this.

K and Pat-Our family wishes your whole, big, wonderful family a Blessed Christmas!
