Seems to be the theme of the day. I posted my annual MLK post as well... a truly inspirational man.

Yeah, I've listened to his speech in its entirety 3-4 times today and each time I hear something different that I didn't pick up on previously and it gets me thinking. It's hard to imagine the world he lived in and how brave he was to stand up against racism and fight for civil rights.

As you said on my blog--It STILL Rings true today...Besides it being true poetry-in-words...Everything he said was so very stirring...! I watched that March On Washington on Television that day....Moved to tears then, as I still am now....! Somehow I need to believe he knows what is about to happen tomorrow....!
I so wish I could have gone to that march back in August of 1963....But seeing "live" on TV was an astounding moment in the History of this country....Never have so many been moved and inspired by the entire 'movement', but by this great great man in particular....!
It is so affirming to listen to this speech again and again, isn't it?

Very, very inspirational to say the least. I remember this well, I was I freshman in HS at the time. His true birthday was 1/15, the same as Jodi.
